Ezekiel is married and has children who are still young and are going to school. He owns a house that has neither piped water nor electricity. His greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For over four years, he has operated a tailoring business, making garments for both men and women and also children. He cites seasonality as his major challenge.
With the KES 50,000, he wants to purchase cloth materials and sewing thread for his business. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
