Ahlied Yusmid
This is Ahlied Yusmid. She is a mother and head of her family. She has three beautiful children - Briggyd Ximena, 21 years old, Diana Carolina, 15 years old, and Michel Valeria, 10 years old. Ahlied just finished high school as she became a mother at 17 years old and had to postpone her education. When you have children, they are your priority. You have to give them what they need and everything in for them and not for anyone else.

Ahlied is now 38 years old and believes it is never to late to learn. She learned about the academic programmes available and is interested in working as a legal assistant. Ahlied always wanted to study law and this seems like a great opportunity, of which to take advantage.

About CampoAlto

CampoAlto is a for-profit education institute that offers a variety of classes to students from socially or economically marginalized groups, including women, ethnic minorities, displaced populations, disabled individuals, and those living below the poverty line. Kiva funding is being used to pay tuition for students who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend classes.

Because CampoAlto’s core business is not purely microfinance, there is some level of additional risk for lenders. For this reason, Kiva has not assigned the institute a risk rating.
