The “AMAZONAS DE HUAYNA PTOSI II” Group will begin their eighth loan cycle with Pro Mujer and Centro Focal de German Busch.

The group is made up of nine members and is governed by a board of directors. Virgina is the President.

The group has various different businesses such as selling shampoo, shoes, mobile phone accessories, braided rugs and a hardware store.

Virginia is a part of the small businesses that will benefit from this loan. She tells us that she became a member of Pro Mujer four years ago through the invitation of a friend who was already a member of the institution.

Currently she has a rug braiding business. She started this business several years ago as a family business. She decided to start her own business after having her first child.

The current loan will be used to increase capital (to buy rug pieces) which she will acquire from fairs around the city of El Alto. After she has made the rugs she will sell them to stores by client request.

This type of work allows her to gain resources to support her family. She lives with her partner and has four children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she responds that she lives the savings offered by the institution.

La A.C. “AMAZONAS DE HUAYNA PTOSI II” iniciará el octavo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de German Busch, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Virginia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de shampoo, venta de zapatos, venta de accesorios de celulares, trenzado de mantas, venta de soleras, tienda de ferretería.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Virginia es integrante, ella indica que hace cuatro años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de trenzado de mantas; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió hace varios años, ya que el mismo es un negocio familiar, posterior a tener su primer hijo decide independizarse.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de corte de mantas) que adquirirá en las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente al elaboración lo comercializará en las tiendas a pedido de la cliente. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia ya que ella vive en unión libre y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta los ahorros que le ofrece la institución.
