Sofía is 33 years old and completed school through the third grade. Due to a lack of financial resources, she was not able to continue her studies. She has devoted her time to the care of domesticated animals such as pigs, cows, and chickens. Her husband left for the United States four months ago and he sends her a small of money that helps pay for her food expenses and the care of the animals.

Sofía has 20 years of experience in caring for her animals. When she was no longer able to continue her studies, she decided that it would be best to begin working. She chose to pursue this line of work because she is able to generate an income upon selling the animals and by selling the milk produced by her cows.

The loan she is requesting will be used to build a small stable where her cows can drink water during the winter season. This will affect the quantity of milk that they produce. Sofía will also buy food for her cows.

In the future, Sofía would like to have a completed stable so that her cows can have better conditions and she will be able to take better care of them. As a result, the milk production will become more profitable.
