Leat C., 45, is a true entrepreneur and has a business selling fish at the market. She earns approximately US$4 each day. Her husband catches fish from the river for his wife to sell and he also plants many kinds of vegetables. Sometimes he only catchs a few fish so she needs to order more fish from other fisherman. This couple has five children and all of them are students. The weather conditions have been difficult in Cambodia this past year and inflation has also been out of control. These factors have played into a difficult economic year for many Cambodians, Leat C. included. Leat would like a loan of US$800 to buy more fish to sell in the market. Currently, she has many customers but sometime she does not have enough fish to sell.
