The Suma Pankarita group will begin its third cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal de Los Andes. It is made up of nine members and is directed by a board where Gumercinda is the president. The businesses that the members of the community association manage are varied. Among them are: sweater-making, food sales, transportation services, sewing shop, lingerie sales, blanket weaving and flower sales.

The loan they are taking will benefit small businesses where Gumercinda is a member. She indicates that they joined Pro Mujer a year ago, joining on the invitation of a friend who is a member of the institution. Currently, she has a business selling food. She disclosed that she learned this business from her mother since it was a family business. After marrying, she decided to work independently.

The loan she will now tak is to expand capital (to buy a stall) that she will acquire in a market in her area of the city of El Alto and later she will sell her products from that space. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family since she lives with her partner and six children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the area of health that the institution offers.

La A.C. “SUMA PANKARITA II” iniciará el tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Gumercinda es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: artesano de chompas, venta de comida, servicio de transporte, taller de costura, venta de lencería, tejido de mantas, venta de flores.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Gumercinda es integrante, ella indica que hace un año que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de comida; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por recomendación de su madre, ya que era un negocio familiar, después de haberse casado decidió realizar su trabajo independientemente.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de puesto de venta) que adquirirá en una feria de su zona en la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente comercializará sus productos en ese espacio. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia ya que ella vive en unión libre y seis hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud que le ofrece la institución.
