To make a living, Saturnino operates a motorcycle transportation business and, at the same time, manages his own farm.
He joined Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) last year and had borrowed a loan to cover the cost of motorcycle repairs. He used this vehicle to carry passengers and the baggage of his customers.
In the future, Saturnino wants to improve his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
