En el sector conocido como Estancia Vieja en la parroquia Colon de la ciudad de Portoviejo se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Grupo De Crédito Estancia Vieja. Lugar de gente humilde y dedicada a la agricultura y al comercio en general.
En este lugar vive el señor Jefferson, tiene 39 años de edad y mantiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene cinco hijos de 15, 13, 12, 10 y 8 años, los tres mayores estudian en colegio y los menores en escuela. Su mujer es comerciante.
Don Jefferson y su mujer para sacar adelante a su familia se dedican al comercio, ellos venden ropa de todo tipo, zapatos, zapatillas entre otros productos, su forma de venta es puerta a puerta y también se desplazan los días de ferias a otras ciudades, en las cuales instalan un local en la calle de estas ciudades para así vender su mercadería y tener los recursos necesarios para salir adelante y darles una buena educación a sus hijos, ellos llevan más de 10 años dedicados a esta actividad con la cual salen adelante.
Este crédito lo va utilizar en comprar ropa, zapatos, zapatillas entre otras cosas que venden. Lleva 4 ciclos en el Grupo De Crédito y le gusta porque los créditos son rápidos y a bajos intereses. Su sueño es un carro para realizar sus ventas.
