Eftekar is 45 years old and lives with her husband and her three children, two of whom attend the public primary school in Nablus. They live in Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, which is a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank, located 20 kilometers south of Nablus, in the Nablus Governorate. The town has a total land area of 12,075 dunams of which 200 dunams is built up. Her husband is an employee in the public sector which pays a low salary, so Eftekar is working as a farmer at a yard in her town to increase the family's income.

Eftekar is asking Ryada for this loan to paint her house and put in doors and windows, which will help to warm her house, especially now in the winter. She is very grateful to everyone who helps her. Her husband is the man who appears beside her in the picture.

More information about this loan

This loan is part of Ryada’s efforts to reach areas of the West Bank which are underserved due to the political situation. Funds will be used to finance housing improvements in refugee camps and Areas B and C of the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority currently has limited to no authority in these areas, making it very difficult for individuals to acquire official construction and building permits. Without the necessary documentation, banks are unlikely to lend to these individuals. By supporting this loan, you are helping individuals overcome this challenge so that they can improve their living conditions.
