The loan will help all these micro-entrepreneurs of which Benedicta is one. She says that she joined Pro Mujer two years ago, on the invitation of an adviser from the institution who came to visit her in her house. Benedicta has a business weaving and selling sweaters. She told us that she learned this activity together with her mother and her children, making this a family business. Later with a loan from Pro Mujer she expanded her business.

The loan she is now requesting is to increase her capital, buying wool that she'll buy in the markets of the city of La Paz. Later she will make them and sell them in her sales place. This method of work allows her to support her family. When asked what she liked about Pro Mujer she replied that she liked the loans, health care and training that the institution provides.
