Rafael, 51 years old, is married to a teacher and they have five children. Since he doesn't have any work now, he is in charge of cultivating his two-hectare rice field.
Rafael is a loving husband and father. Everyday he wakes up early in the morning to prepare breakfast. With the two hectares of rice field he cultivates, he is in need of more capital. So, he is asking for a loan of PHP 15,000 to buy fertilizer, pesticides and insecticides to maintain his farm. Rafael hopes someday that his business will expand so that he can provide all the needs of her family.
