Liza is married with three children. She manages her own piggery while her husband works as a government employee.
Liza has been growing and selling pigs in town for three years, and she earns well from this.
She took a new loan from Gata Daku Multi-purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) to buy piglets to raise.
In the future, Liza wants to expand her piggery business in order to have a better source of income for the family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
