Sok S., 40, is a mother of two children—one is a student and the other is a garment worker—and lives in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She and her husband, Chhun Rim, have a business purchasing recycled items and are able to make around US$3 each day. This couple told a loan officer that they started that business when they married, over nine years ago. To earn more money, Sok would like a loan from Kiva of US$600 to add to the number of recycled items for sale. (Sok is pictured with her husband).
