Chek P., 26, is a mother of two children and lives in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. Since 2007, she has been raising pigs at her home and is able to make US$2 each day. Her husband, Chheng Sroly, has a business catching fish from the river and selling them to the market to earn an approximately around US$5 in profits per day. Chek is requesting a loan of US$1000 from Kiva to purchase a boat motor for her husband and the rest of the money is to be used to add more livestock.
