Julienne
Julienne is a 34-year-old woman who is single and the mother of 3 children aged between 7 and 22. She is a retailer and has been selling seasonal fresh food (cassava, macabo - a tuber similar to taro root - and yams) at a local market for the past 16 years. She knows her suppliers well and she knows her customers, whom she has acquired over time thanks to her experience, especially well. Unfortunately, she constantly suffers from stock shortages because she is forced to sell all of her merchandise before being able to buy new stock because of her limited capital. She would like to increase her inventory of fresh food so that she is better able to satisfy the continuous demand of her clientèle without suffering from stock shortages. She plans to save her profit so that she is able to expand her business and meet her family's needs.
