Archana is a 37-year-old hardworking lady from a small village in Dhupguri in Jalpaiguri district. She stays with her husband and two children (sons). One son is in class X (grade 10) and other is in class VIII (grade 8). Archana and her husband are illiterate, but know how to sigh their name. They have a small sweet shop where her husband sells different types of sweets. But he has a small income. The income from the business is not sufficient to meet the educational expenses of their sons and the household expenses.

Biman, the younger son of Archana, is a meritorious student who stood first in his class. She seeks this loan to support her son’s education so that he does not face any difficulty in receiving his education. This loan would help her to pay the tuition fees, to purchase education equipment like books, notebooks, pens, pencil etc. and to pay private coaching fees for her son’s education.

Archana and Biman (in the photo) are very thankful to BJS and Kiva for this educational loan.
