Mgandi is a 50-year-old local chicken trader in Mariakani, Kenya. He is a married father of four children, and his spouse earns additional income for the family. He has been in his business for the last 21 years and has done great.
This marks Mgandi’s fifth loan from Vision fund Kenya to finance his business. He will use the money to purchase more local poultry for his poultry business. He hopes to rear various local chicken breeds to feed the market around him and become a known local poultry trader in his community.
