Thanks to her effort and desire to get ahead she sells cosmetics, such as rouge, shadow, base, eye liner, lipstick, makeup remover, perfumes, and body creams. She works 10 hours a day and will use the money from this loan to invest into her clothing business so that she can have a better income in the near future. Sonia is grateful to the Kiva lenders who provide people from countries of low resources like Nicaragua, the opportunity to have a dignified source of work.

Sonia de 38 años de edad, casada con dos hijos menores de edad de 12,7 años es originaria de Jinotepe, lugar que está ubicado en la zona norte del país. Ella se caracteriza por ser responsable, trabajadora, con ganas de superación personal. En sus ratos libre le gusta disfrutar de la compañia de sus hijos. Lamentablemente no pudo cursar una carrera y se vio obligada a trabajar desde temprana edad. En la actualidad lucha día a día para brindarles un futuro mejor a sus hijos.
Gracias a sus esfuerzo y sus ganas de salir adelante tiene por actividad económica la venta de cosméticos como rubor, sombra, base, lápiz de ojos, lápiz labial, desmaquilladora, perfumes, crema de cuerpo, body. Ella dedica a su negocio unas 10 horas diarias ofreciendo sus productos. El objetivo del crédito es invertir en capital de trabajo y surtir su negocio en la compra y venta de prendas, para que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda obtener mejores ingresos. Sonia agradece la ayuda que los inversionistas kiva les brindan a personas de escasos recursos y países pobre como es Nicaragua para tener un medio de trabajo digno.
