Fatmata's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 45-year-old Fatmata from Waterloo2 Western rural area in Freetown. She is married with three children. She also supports two relatives at home.

Fatmata runs a general food container business within her community, where she sells cups, plates, and food containers; she has been in this business since 2010. Fatmata says that the main challenge to her business is inflation.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cups, plates, and a variety of food containers. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve her family’s standard of living. In the future, she would like to see her business grow. She thanks you for your support!
