The client, age 21, is very kind and hard-working. He lives with his parents and his siblings. He works very hard on his own piece of land where he grows rice. His products are very good quality. When his harvest is ready, he goes out to sell it at the different markets that are close to where he lives.

The client is requesting a loan from Integral to buy pesticides, fertilizers, compost, and seeds, among other things that he needs for his crops and to improve the land seen in the photograph. He longs to increase his sales in order to be able to get greater income and to give his family better financial stability.

el cliente de 21 años de edad es muy amable y trabajador, vive con sus padres y sus hermanos, El trabaja muy duro en su propia parcela donde siembra arroz; sus productos son de muy buena calidad, cuando su cosecha ya esta lista sale a comercializarla a los diferentes mercados que estan cerca de su lugar de residencia. el cliente solicita un préstamo a INTEGRAL para contar con el dinero necesario e invertir en la compra de insumos agrícolas como controles de plaga, fertilizantes, abonos, semillas entre otras cosas que necesita para su siembra y mejorar el terreno que muestra en la fotografía, él ansía aumentar sus ventas para poder percibir mayores ganancias y darle a su familia una mejor estabilidad economica.

This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   


Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
