El grupo de crédito Despertar está formado por 8 mujeres quienes viven en la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad es desde Diciembre de 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, tiene varios lugares para disfrutar de la naturaleza, hacer deportes extremos y pasar en familia. Las socias son personas amables y gentiles que trabajan día a día para mejorar la situación económica de sus hogares para brindarles mayores oportunidades a sus familias.
Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señorita. Jessica, tiene 25 años de edad, es soltera y no tiene hijos, vive en casa de su madre a quien le ayuda con en los gastos del hogar ya que la casa donde viven es arrendada.
Diña Jessica está trabajando como mesera en un local de comida, lleva 3 años en este trabajo y labora de miércoles a domingo.
Su crédito es para iniciar su propio negocio el cual es venta de comida rápida, va a comprar víveres y espera crecer en el negocio. Su meta es terminar sus estudios del colegio.
