Dorcus is a married woman who has three children, all of whom go to school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and food for the family.
For the past two years, she has operated a poultry-selling business. She sells to her neighbours and passersby. Her major challenge is the high cost of transportation to her place of operation.
With the KES 20,000 loan, she wants to purchase chicks and poultry feed for her business. She decided to join Yehu to access loans, to boost her business and improve her living standard.
