Meri is a 52-year-old woman who lives in Batumi district, west Georgia. She has a son, daughter-in-law and little grandson. Her daughter-in-law works as a cooker at the wedding hall and earns 350 GEL monthly. On her own initiative and with much effort and dedication, Meri works in her own business selling fruits and vegetables from the counter. She works every day for about 10 hours and thinks she does well because of her good prices and the kind way she treats others.
