Es una joven de 29 años con iniciativa, originaria de Puerto Cabezas, madre soltera de tres hijos en edad escolar. Desde hace aproximadamente 9 años estableció su propio negocio de venta de cosméticos ya accesorios de belleza, con las ganancias percibidas, le ha permitido establecer su tienda de ropa nueva en el mercado municipal. Solicita financiamiento para comprar: zapatos para damas y niños, sandalias, botas, short, camisetas para mujeres, hombres y niños, vestidos. La mercadería la compra en Managua para venderla a precios accesibles. Gracias a los dos financiamientos anteriores que recibió de PANA PANA y con las ganancias de su negocio, le ha permitido construir su muro de concreto, para vivir de manera de segura, debido a que anteriormente era de maya. Su sueño es que su negocio continúe creciendo y apoyar a sus hijos.

About Pana Pana

Pana Pana is a nonprofit civil association founded in 1990 in Nicaragua. The organization’s official name is Asociacion para el Desarrollo de la Costa Atlantica (Association for the Development of the Atlantic Coast) but they have always been know as Pana Pana which means “mutual help” in the local language.

Pana Pana offers loans for commerce, housing, and a small number of agriculture loans. They also have a small social development unit that runs Pana Pana’s non-financial services. This includes technical assistance for housing loans and the development of a water and sanitation project.
