Karapet lives in Gyumri with his wife and two small children.
Karapet is a shoemaker. He receives orders mainly from Vanadzor and makes different types of shoes.
Karapet makes good quality shoes and his customers are always very satisfied with his work.
Now, because of the coming holidays, Karapet has received a lot of orders. Unfortunately the materials that he has on hand, doesn't allow him to complete all the orders. So this hard working shoemaker asks your help. The loan that he has requested will greatly assist Karapet to purchase materials for sewing shoes. He has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. The loan is very important for Karapet and he waits for lenders' support.
