The Los Andes Communal bank will begin its twenty-fifth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Panamericana regional center. It is comprised of eight members and led by a board of directors. Maria is the president. The businesses of the members of the communal bank are varied and include selling cleaning products, bricklaying services, selling shoes, selling traditional woven textiles, and selling coca.

The loan that they will take out will benefit small business women where Maria is a member. She says that she has been a member of Pro Mujer for two years. She joined by invitation from her sister-in-law, who is a member of the association.

She currently has a business of selling bread. She say that she undertook this business on recommendation from a friend who conducted the same business activity. Upon observing how the product sold, she decided to undertake her own business.

The loan she will now take out is to buy bread that she will get at the bakeries in the city of El Alto. She will later sell it at her sales space. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family. She is in a common-law marriage, and she has five children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replied that she likes the loans that are offered to her by the institution.

La A.C. “LOS ANDES” iniciará el vigésimo quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Maria es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de productos de limpieza, servicio de albañil, venta de calzados, comerciante de awayos, venta de coca.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Maria es integrante, ella indica que hace dos años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de su cuñada que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de pan; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por recomendación de su amiga que realizaba la misma actividad, al observar el comercio del producto decide emprender su propio negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de pan) que adquirirá de las panaderías de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella vive en concubinato y tiene cinco hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta los créditos que le ofrece la institución.
