Benon is a business man dealing in timber, a business he has done since 2008. He is forty-nine years old and he has eight children aged between twenty-two and eight years. His business is located in Kibazi in Kyamuhunga Sub County and he says his major purpose of starting the business was to get money to help him earn a living. Benon is also a tea farmer which boosts his incomes in a given period. His clients are mainly the carpenters in the area since they are the people that use the timber he sells.

Benon would like to use the money to buy more timber stock for sale so that he gets maximized profits in the festive season. The main challenge he faces is the challenge of the business being more labour intensive and tiring, but he is confident that this will no longer be a challenge if he gets loan money and he employs some people to help him with the work. His hopes include buying land for his family so that they can settle on their land as a family.
