The communal association "Sol de verano" will start its second cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal de Panamericana. It has eight members and is led by a management team where Rocío is the president. The businesses that the members run are varied and include: purchase of cell phones, fruit sale, book sale, carpentry work, CD's sale and cakes sale.

The loan will benefit small microentrepreneurs, including Rocío. She says this is her second cycle at Pro Mujer and that she joined after a friend, who is also a member, invited her. She currently sells cell phones, a business that she has learned from her mother, who works with this product.

She plans to use the loan to increase capital (buy cell phones) that she will obtained from traditional tradeshows in the city of El Alto. She will then sell the product in her store. This job allows her to generate resources and cover household expenses. She's single.

When asked about what she likes in Pro Mujer, she says she likes the health coverage that the institution offers.

La A.C. “SOL DE VERANO” iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Rocio es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: compra de celulares, venta de fruta, venta de libros, taller de carpintería, venta de CD’s, venta de queques.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Rocio es integrante, ella indica que es el segundo ciclo que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de celulares; da a conocer que este negocio lo aprendió por concejos de su madre quien trabaja con esta mercadería.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de celulares) que adquirirá de las ferias tradicionales de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella es soltera.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud que le ofrece la institución.
