The loan they are requesting will be useful for a small microentrepreneur like Juana. This is her sixth year working with Pro Mujer, entering on an invitation from her friends who are also members of the institution. Today, she has a business selling fabric and sweaters. She learned this business more than ten years ago on her own initiative.

The loan she is requesting will bring an increase in working capital to purchase wool in the traditional open-air markets in the city of El Alto. She will then make and sell her products in open-air markets. This business allows her to generate resources to support her family, her husband and three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Juana says that she likes the health services offered by the institution.
