Karine is an experienced agronomist from Haytagh village, in the Armavir region. She lives with her son, daughter-in-law, and her two school-aged grandchildren. To take care of her family’s needs Karine is engaged in agribusiness. With the help of her family members she is involved in the cultivation of potatoes, beets, greens, and strawberries. Karine’s son sells the agricultural products at the local market, which is the main source of the family’s income. As life is getting more expensive day by day Karine wants to expand her agribusiness to be able to more effectively cover the family’s expenses. She currently needs to make some investments to the agribusiness to reach her goal. A loan of USD 3,000 will help Karine and her family greatly, enabling her to purchase necessary materials (cellophane, pipes, and irrigation system) for greenhouse construction, to buy cucumber seeds, and to purchase fertilizers. Karine and her family rely on the good will of the lenders and will appreciate their support in collecting the needed loan amount to maintain and develop their agribusiness.
