Benard is 50 years old, a male and married. He has four children aged 18,16,14 and 10 years, all of whom he supports.
He was introduced to KADET Ltd by a Kadet officer and he has a bodaboda (bicycle) business. He has been in this business, based in Malindi, for eleven years. In his business he earns a monthly income of 6000 KES and is now requesting this, his forth loan. He intends to use the 20,000 KES to purchase another bicycle. His previous loan of 10,000 KES was paid back successfully.
Benard will use the anticipated profit from this loan to expand his business. His hopes and dreams for his future business and family are to open another business and educate his children.
