Mareta is from the village of Spandaryan. She is a 41-year-old mother of two children (ages 12 and 23 years old).
Mareta and her husband have been involved in agriculture for more than 15 years. Through those years of hard and tireless work they was able to run a successful farm, which currently helps them earn their living. Mareta's husband and son sell the gathered agricultural products (meat, milk, vegetables) in the local open market. Because of the family's hard financial times, Mareta isn't currently able to invest in her farm. She asks for this loan of 3,000 USD to be able to purchase seeds for cultivation, forage for the livestock, and to pay for transportation costs. This will be a big support to the family and they will be able to continue their agribusiness.
