Maha
Maha is a 56-year-old widowed Palestinian refugee. She is a hard worker who puts so much effort for her income through developing her business as much as she can.

Maha is well-known in her region, with a wide and long experience in her domain. She is very skilled because she started this type of business early, since Palestinians have limited access to several working domains, and this kind of business is highly requested in her region and wasn't very expensive to establish long ago.

Maha started her business from her house with one tailoring machine, and today, she has seven, which is a very important development. She has had to make sure to keep moving forward.

She is acquiring a loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua to buy necessary fabrics to make sure that she can reply to the increasing customer needs before the coming Christmas celebrations.

She hopes that one day, she can open a tailoring factory where she can recruit someone to help her reply to the increasing customer requests.
