Samirah is a conservative person who prefers not to have her photo published online, so her husband appears in the photo.
Samirah is a 41-year-old married woman from Attel village near Tulkarem city. She is a mother of six sons and three daughters. Samirah's husband works as an employee in the public sector where he gets a low income. This income barely covers the family needs.
Five years ago, Samirah and her husband started to raise sheep on a small farm they own. They sell dairy products in the local market. It is a good business and helps the family with part of their expenses. Samirah and her husband would like to improve their project, so she took a USD 2,000 loan from FATEN. This loan will help her and her husband to buy more sheep to improve their farm. By taking this loan, the productivity of their farm will increase and also their income.
