His politeness, high quality lemons, and his keen sense of smell all set him apart from his competition. Alijon puts his whole heart into his work. He wants his clients to be pleased with his lemons.

Alijon prepared and planted a crop in time for the onset of winter. However, the crop needs to be saved because the roof of the hothouse is in dire need of repair. The roof needs repairs very badly. Alijon is requesting a loan to buy fittings, wire, and tenting so he can repair the roof and save his crop of lemons. Alijon hopes that his work won't have been in vain and that he will have a harvest.
