José Manuel tiene 43 años de edad, vive junto a sus hijos en el distrito de Nueva Arica, una comunidad que presenta grandes depósitos de arena, piedra y ripio, que su población lo emplea en construcción, tiene un relieve llano, rodeo por cerros debido a los contrafuertes andinos, su población se dedica a la a agricultura, comercio y ganadería, ubicado a una hora de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.


El se dedica a la crianza de animales de corral patos, pollos, cuyes, en su domicilio, con muchos años de experiencia, sus hijos le apoyan en esta labor, José Manuel ha solicitado un préstamo de 1 000 nuevos soles a Edpyme Alternativa para la compra de alimentos balanceados para engorde de animales y de esta manera tener una mejor producción de los mismos para ofrecer a sus clientes, generando mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
