M. Manzoor is a 61-year-old father of seven children. Now he has grown old and weak as well. Nowadays, most of the time he is sick; due to weakness, he cannot perform his duties regarding producing and selling milk. He wants to give his obligations to his younger son so that he can continue his forefather’s business. Before giving his obligations, he wants to maintain the cowshed and complete the herd. This is the reason he wants to buy an additional heifer to increase his herd.
This is M. Manzoor's first loan with BRAC and Kiva. With the loan amount, he will maintain the cowshed and will buy a heifer to increase the herd. He will be very happy after receiving this loan because the new heifer will cause his herd to grow.
