Rogers
Rogers is 33 years old and lives in the town of Kijura in the region of Hoima in Uganda. He is married and has one child. For the past five years, Rogers has been working hard to manage his bar, which sells beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.

To help expand his business, Rogers has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more beer, sodas, spirits, and water, and will help Rogers to generate greater profits and take care of his family's basic needs. Rogers hopes that in the future he will be able to expand his business.

Rogers is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Rogers who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
