Gevorg is a young farmer from Gogaran village, in the Lori region of Armenia. He lives with his wife, 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. To take care of his family Gevorg is extensively engaged in agribusiness. He is involved in cattle, sheep and pig breeding, in aviculture, and in the cultivation of wheat, potatoes, and alfalfa. He sells the agricultural products at the local market, which is the main source of the family's income. Gevorg's wife assists him in his daily activities related to farming. To sustain his agribusiness Gevorg needs to make some investments. He needs a loan of $3,000 to purchase five calves, to buy some forage for the cattle, and to pay for harvesting services. Gevorg and his family rely on the good will of the lenders and will greatly appreciate their support in fulfilling the needed loan.
