Rasad decided to give financial assistance to his family by cultivating khurma (persimmons) in their own land. He applied for a loan of 1000 AZN from Aqroinvest CU. With this loan he wants to buy quality fertilizers. He has chosen this business as there is a good demand for khurma in their locality and in the present market.
In the future he wants to develop his business and earn more profit. His dreams are to provide higher education to his sons and to meet the expenses of their family with the profits from his business. Rasad sincerely thanks Aqroinvest and Kiva for the loan.

This loan is designed for clients residing in settlements for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Bilasuvar, Azerbaijan. An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who has been forced to flee his or her home due to armed conflict, violence, human rights violations, or natural or manmade disasters, but who, unlike a refugee, has not crossed an international border (source: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs).
