Nom is 52 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $1 per day. Two of her children are employed as garment workers. They earn about $10 daily. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Nom is requesting a loan of $1100 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her reduce transportation expenses. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her children earn higher education. Moreover, she plans to rebuild her house’s roof.
