Soeun is 57 years old. She is widowed and resides with two children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than 10 years, earning approximately $1 per day. Her children are employed. They earn about $15 each day.
To improve her family’s finances, Soeun is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase furniture for resale. By doing so, she would be able to generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand the business and rebuild her house if possible.
