Bahozi
This client, Bahozi, is an experienced doctor working in a medical foundation. He is the parent of three students at the university level (respectively a daughter in the G1 applied technology track, a son in undergraduate studies in public law, and a son in the G3 economics track). Bahozi was informed about new opportunities in the financing of education costs by the microfinance institution Hekima.

Thus, this new loan will be used to pay the education costs for these three students, so that they are no longer excluded from classes throughout the 2013-14 academic year. This parent physician dreams of seeing his daughter become an architect-engineer and his two sons become an attorney and a company manager.

He thanks the microfinance institution Hekima for its new innovative product dedicated to their children's education through lending with social impact, especially during this critical time of war in the country's east.

More information about this loan

HEKIMA is offering this loan to help this client, or a member of this client’s family to access post-secondary education. Because tuition must be paid up front in HEKIMA’s operating area, where incomes are often small, it can be very difficult for students to pay tuition and access higher education. It allows students and students’ families to spread the cost of tuition out over 4-12 months. We believe this is the first loan product offering of its kind in the Kivu region.
