12-07-01 Quảng Tâm Group
In this Group: Tâm, Sơn, Dung, Liệu
Tâm is 54 years old and is single with three children. She has no dependants as her children are grown up. She is the group leader of the 12-07-01 Quảng Tâm solidarity group, which consists of four members. Tâm lives and works in Thanh Hoa City, an urban area in Thanh Hoa Province.

Tâm operates a food stall selling snacks. She has been involved in this business for more than 10 years. One of the most critical business difficulties that concerns Tâm is the lack of capital. Therefore, she is requesting a loan to purchase ingredients to make snacks to sell. This is Tâm's first loan with Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women.

In the future, Tâm hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, to remodel her house, and for her children to find good jobs.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
