The lending group "New Solidarity" will begin their third cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the focal center Alto Lima. The group has nine members and a board of directors including the treasurer, Agustina. The members have various businesses such as: mechanic, neighborhood store, selling cheese, selling cell phones, selling food.

The loan will benefit small business owners like Agustina, who has been with Pro Mujer for three years, joining at the invitation of a promoter who went to visit her at home. Currently she has a business selling food. She learned by helping out in the kitchen at a restaurant and later decided to open her own space. The loan will be used to buy things like rice, noodles and oil in the wholesale stores in La Paz, and later to make the food she will sell. This work allows her to generate income to maintain her home as much as possible, since is married and has 6 children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the loan and the health information that the institution offers.

La A.C. “NUEVA SOLIDARIDAD” iniciará el tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Alto Lima, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Agustina es la Tesorera. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: taller mecánico, tienda de barrio, venta de queso, venta de celulares, venta de comida.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Agustina es integrante, ella indica que hace tres años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de comida; cuenta que este negocio lo aprendió al trabajar de ayudante de cocina en un establecimiento, posteriormente decide emprender su propio espacio de comercio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de arroz, fideo, aceite) que adquirirá de las tiendas mayoristas de la ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en unión libre y tiene seis hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el crédito y el área de salud que se ofrece la institución.
