The lending group "Women United" will begin their 18th cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the German Busch focal center. The group is made up of 10 members and has a board of directors lead by the President, Ines. The members have varied businesses including: grocery store, selling herbs, sewing coats, knitting macrame, selling sodas, making garments, fruit sales, cosmetics, and an electronics workshop.

The loan will benefit these small business owners, like Ines. She has been through three cycles with Pro Mujer, joining at the invitation of a friend of hers who is a member. Currently she has a business making clothing. She started the business with her family 11 years ago. This loan will be used to increase her capital buy purchasing fabric in the wholesale stores in the city of La Paz. Later she will make garments to sell in her store. This work allows her to generate income to sustain her family. Ines is married an has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the savings, the loan, and the health talks that the institution offers.

La A.C. “MUJERES UNIDAS” iniciará el décimo octavo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de German Busch, está compuesta por diez integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Inés es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: tienda de abarrotes, venta de hiervas, costura de chamarras, tejido de macramé, venta de refrescos, confección de prendas de vestir, venta de fruta, venta de cosméticos, taller electrónico.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Inés es integrante, ella indica que hace tres ciclos que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de confección de prendas de vestir; da a conocer que este negocio emprendió hace once años atrás, conjuntamente su familia.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de tela) que adquirirá de las tiendas mayoristas de la Ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta los ahorros, el crédito y el área de salud que se ofrece en la institución.
