Alima is a married woman with seven children; four are in school and the rest are adults. She lives in a cement house with neither electricity nor piped water.
She operates a cashew nut selling business and she has been in this business for 10 years.
She'll use the loan to purchase more sacks of cashew nuts for resale. She joined Yehu to boost her business.
Her hope is that her business does well, so that she can venture into a large-scale cashew nut selling business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
