The “Nuevo Corazon” communal bank will begin its twenty third loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the regional office in German Busch. It is made up of eight members and led by a leadership group where Reina is the president. The businesses that the members of the communal bank have are varied. Among them are: selling weavings, selling furniture, selling lamb meat, embroidery, underskirts, cell phone accessories, sweets, and transportation services.

The loan they will obtain will benefit the small business owners where Reina is a member. She explains that she joined Pro Mujer eleven years ago. She joined at the invitation of a friend who was a member of the institution. She currently has a store where she sells cell phone parts. She explains that she started this business twelve years ago because she knew the business.

The loan that she will obtain will be for increasing capital (buying cell phone parts) that she will get at the wholesale stores in the city of La Paz. She will sell them in her store. This work allows her to earn an income to support her family, since she lives in a common law marriage and has three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the saving that the group builds up.

La A.C. “NUEVO CORAZON” iniciará el vigésimo tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de German Busch, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Reina es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de tejido, venta de muebles, venta de carne de cordero, bordado de ropa de moreno, tejido de enaguas, venta de artículos de celular, venta de dulces, servicio de transporte.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Reina es integrante, ella indica que hace once ciclos que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de partes de celulares; da a conocer que este negocio emprendió hace doce años atrás, ya que conocía del negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de partes de celulares) que adquirirá de las tiendas mayoristas de la Ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella vive en unión libre y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta los ahorros que se desarrollan en el grupo.
