Fatoumata
Born in 1962, Fatoumata lives with her five children and husband in a nuclear family in the rural commune of Kouraba.

Fatoumata became very interested in business from her aunt, who sells various goods. Fatoumata, after years of experience in that area, choose to start selling agricultural products: groundnuts, black-eyed peas, millet, fonio, corn, bissap, etc.

After having correctly repaid her three previous loans, Fatoumata is on her fourth loan with Soro Yiriwaso. This loan will be used to buy 100 sacs of millet from the peasant farmers (in Tiele, Bassian, and Dialakoro) and a few rare times from wholesalers in the area.

She makes her sales for cash and credit, at retail and from home, in Bassian and in the surrounding market fairs to mostly consumers.

Fatoumata hopes to earn an monthly profit of 95,000 francs CFA, which will be used to help her husband support the family's needs, repay the loan, and invest in her business.
