In the city of Portoviejo, the capital of Manabí province, known for years for its airport, Reales Tamarindos, the members of the group "Grupo de Crédito El Arbolito 4" meet every fifteen days. The group was founded by 11 woman and 2 men some time ago with the goal of helping its members get ahead with their businesses and provide their family with better at the same time.

One member of this group is Genith, a woman of 47 years of age, who is married and has four grown children, three of whom are studying at the university. Her husband is a taxi driver.

Genith's intention was to earn something herself and use that to help her children with their schooling. Her business is selling sheets, quilts, towels, and similar products. She travels throughout her neighborhood in her free time and is able to rely on a very strong customer base, which she has obtained through her seven years of experience in this business.

This loan will be used to purchase more household linens, among other products which she sells. She has been in the group since the beginning and she hopes to continue receiving these loans for a long time. Her dream is to see her children become professionals.

En la ciudad de Portoviejo, capital de Manabí conocida desde hace muchos años como la ciudad de los reales tamarindos, se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Grupo De Crédito El Arbolito 4, grupo formado por 11 mujeres y 2 hombres que hace tiempo atrás se unieron y formaron este grupo el cual les ha ayudado mucho para salir adelante con sus negocios y a su vez darles algo mejor a sus familias.
La señora Genith es parte de este grupo, tiene 47 años de edad, está casada y de esta relación tiene 4 hijos mayores de edad, 3 de ellos estudian en universidad. El esposo es taxista.
Doña Genith con la intención de ganar algo por su cuenta y con esto ayudarles a sus hijos en sus estudios se dedica al comercio, vende sabanas, edredones, toallas y varios productos más, ella salea recorrer por la localidad en los momentos que está desocupada, cuenta con muy buena clientela la misma que ha logrado conseguir en los 7 años que lleva con este negocio.
Este crédito lo va emplear en comprar sabanas, edredones, toallas, entre otros productos que vende. Esta desde el inicio en el Grupo De Crédito y espera seguir por mucho tiempo recibiendo los créditos. Su sueño es que sus hijos sean profesionales.
